The Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR) is a central register of certified suppliers which is used by major UK defence organisations when implementing new projects. JOSCAR identifies and makes available qualified suppliers to companies operating in the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space sectors. The register is invite-only and requires successful completion of a qualification process.
The rigorous JOSCAR accreditation process covers capability, qualifications, information security, CSR, import/export, legal and financial history.
The community-based JOSCAR system enables a more collaborative and efficient way of working that promotes ease and communication between suppliers and buying organisations.
The company's approval to join the Register offers contractors a pre-qualification of its capability and reliability as a supplier, enabling them to trade with Atlantic confidently, secure in the knowledge that it operates to the highest standards of design, engineering and business practice.
